The Waterloo BD Festival returns with a new edition dedicated to comic book lovers and curious visitors alike. For three days, authors, collectors and fans gather in the heart of Waterloo to celebrate the 9th art in a friendly and lively atmosphere.
The programme includes signing sessions with more than 30 authors, a collectors’ fair, themed exhibitions and activities for all ages. The 2026 edition highlights the Western theme with Yves Swolfs as guest of honour.
The festival mainly takes place at the Écuries and the Cultural Centre, as well as in several bookshops, shops and public spaces across the town centre, all within walking distance.
A major exhibition dedicated to Western comics and the work of Yves Swolfs will also be presented at the Écuries, alongside an exceptional collection of objects related to the Far West.
