Grande Braderie du Centre
-

The Grande Braderie du Centre returns to Waterloo from 28 to 30 August to transform the town centre into a vibrant place for shopping, strolling and entertainment. Organised by the Merchants’ Association in collaboration with the Alderman for Commercial and Economic Development, this annual event brings together local businesses, exhibitors and visitors in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
For three days, shops in the town centre and shopping galleries will offer exceptional discounts on a wide range of products. Several shopping areas, including Centre 115, Espace Libert and Jardins de Diane, will also take part with special promotions.
On Sunday, the traditional flea market in Jules Descampe Park welcomes bargain hunters and collectors looking for vintage treasures, vinyl records, jewellery, decorative items and much more. Brussels Road will become pedestrian-only, making room for market stalls, terraces, street entertainment and the many visitors enjoying this festive day.
Throughout the weekend, families can also enjoy the neighbourhood funfair located next to the Centre Church, featuring rides, games and delicious fairground treats.
A new feature this year is the Cultural Village, set up on the forecourt of Saint Joseph’s Church. The Cultural Centre, the Municipal Library, the Zinzolin Creative Expression Centre and the Youth Centre will offer creative workshops, family activities and a colourful musical parade under the theme “Summer – Sow – Love”.
