The Sainte-Anne’s Church

  • The parish of Sainte Anne in Joli-Bois is relatively recent, since the construction of a neo-Romanesque chapel began in 1865, thanks to the generosity of the de Meeus family.

After the chapel was struck by lightning in 1969 and burnt down in 1973, construction began on the modern, multi-purpose church, which was commissioned on Christmas Eve 1977 and inaugurated by Cardinal Suenens on April 30, 1978.
