The Saint-Paul’s Church

  • The Saint-Paul’s church is a superb house-church.

It was designed in the wake of Vatican II by architect Jean Cosse, who won the 1993 Belgian Grand Prix for Architecture and taught at the Saint-Luc Institute in Brussels.

Saint Paul Church was built in 1968 and is in keeping with the scale of the surrounding houses, with pink brick walls, slate roofs and beautiful, calm ridges.

It comprises three zones: a reception area, the large celebration area and the service area.

After 10 years, Saint Paul Church has been enlarged to include a  «  foyer » to encourage contact between the faithful, and an upstairs bedroom to accommodate a visiting guest.
