He’ll tell you all you need to know about this bloody episode in European history, with a wealth of stories and anecdotes from the battlefield on June 18, 1815.
Reach out and hear the sound of trumpets and cannons. Open your eyes and see the cavalrymen charging with sabres, the Prussians landing on the battlefield and the Imperial Guard retreating.
For over 40 years, the Guides 1815 have been guiding visitors to the Waterloo battlefield through 19th-century European history and the 1815 campaign in Belgium. The society was founded in 1983 by a handful of enthusiasts eager to share their knowledge and passion. All have undergone official training approved by the Walloon Region.

Whether for an hour or a day, for one person or twenty-five, by bike or on foot, on a single site or with full options… 1815 guides offer standard and à la carte tours, in several languages, aimed at all audiences, even special ones (PRM, visually impaired or others). - 1-hour tour: € 75
- 1.5-hour tour: € 85
- 2-hour tour: € 95

Miscellaneous
- The guides provide tours in the language of your choice: French, Dutch, English, German, Spanish, etc.
- Each group consists of a maximum of 25 people per guide. Above this number, an additional guide is required for every 25 people (20 people for the Wellington Museum).
- One accompanying person per group is admitted free of charge. One driver per group is also admitted free of charge.
- Prices do not include admission to the museums.
