    For over 40 years, the 1815 Guides have been leading visitors across the battlefield and through the key events of the 19th-century European history and the 1815 campaign in Belgium. Founded in 1983 by passionate history enthusiasts, the association provides certified guides officially trained and approved by the Walloon Region.

    Whether it’s a short visit or a full-day immersion, for individuals or groups of up to 25, on foot or by bike, the 1815 Guides offer standard and custom tours in multiple languages, tailored to all audience, including people with specific needs (PRM, visually impaired, etc.).     Miscellaneous

    • Tours available in French, Dutch, English, German, Spanish, and more.
    • Maximum 25 people per guide (20 for the Wellington Museum). Above this number, an additional guide is required.
    • One group leader and one driver are admitted free of charge.
    • Entry to museums is not included in guide rates.
