The “Boucles Impériales” of Waterloo

On Whit Monday, Waterloo shifts into cycling mode with the big return of the Imperial Loops 🔥
Whether you’re coming with family, friends or you’re simply a cycling enthusiast, everything is set for a dynamic and festive day. Varied routes, a friendly atmosphere, food trucks, entertainment… all that’s left to do is hop on your bike and enjoy 🚴‍♀️

📍 Where? Start at Hotel Waterloo Van der Valk – Chaussée de Tervuren 198, 1410 Waterloo

🚴 Routes

This year, Waterloo Tourism offers several marked and secured routes, supervised by volunteers and accessible to everyone:

• Family Loop: 15 km 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦
  With a possible extension to 20 km.
  Through the small streets of Waterloo and Braine-l’Alleud, with scenic countryside sections and a view of the Lion’s Mound (celebrating its 200th anniversary).
• Kids Loop: 8 km 👦👧
  Possibility to shorten to 5 km.
  Through residential streets of Waterloo.

🎉 Entertainment

• Milcycle stand – last-minute bike repairs.
• Police stand – road safety awareness and goodies for kids.
• Food trucks – to refuel after your ride.
• Bouncy castles – for extra fun after the ride (weather permitting).
• DJ – for a festive atmosphere.

🎁 Raffle

Each registration includes one ticket 🎟️

Prizes:

• 🎁 2 x €250 vouchers at Milcycle.
• 🎁 4 x 5 entries to Nausicaa swimming pool.
• 🎁 2 x buffet for 2 people at Hotel Waterloo Van der Valk.

The brand-new cycling club WTT Cycling offers 2 additional routes:

👉 40 km (no refreshment stop)
👉 85 km (with refreshment stop)

Prices:
40 km: €2 FFBC members | €3.50 non-members
85 km: €5 FFBC members | €6.50 non-members
