Playmobil Exhibition – History of Empires

Embark on a family journey through 40 centuries of history with thousands of Playmobil® figurines at the Wellington Museum.

The great civilizations are represented: Egypt, Rome, a Gallo-Roman villa, and the Lighthouse of Alexandria. The Napoleonic epic is also staged with the school of Brienne, the Battle of the Pyramids, Aboukir, and the Coronation.

A children’s area offers a fun digital activity booklet, a monthly contest, and an interactive creative space.

Guided tours are organized every other Wednesday (and every Wednesday during school holidays). For an additional 3€, participants enjoy a specialist guide, a weapon demonstration by a uniformed soldier, and an immersion in military life with costumes, swords, and bicorn hats. Registration is required.

A selection of historical objects such as vases, sabres, statuettes, and a fragment of the Pyramid Texts completes the experience.
