Historical Reenactment Weekend

27 and 28 June

  • For one weekend, the iconic sites of the battlefield come alive and transport you back to 1815. Between living military camps, civilian villages, demonstrations and immersive activities, discover the daily life of soldiers and civilians during the Napoleonic era.

At Hougoumont Farm, explore an Allied camp with bivouacs, traditional crafts, military surgery and cannon firing.

At Napoleon’s Last Headquarters, experience the atmosphere of the Imperial camp with the presence of the Emperor, military manoeuvres, cavalry and historical scenes.

The highlight of the weekend is a spectacular immersive show around Hougoumont, featuring nearly 500 reenactors. A complete journey through history combining education and entertainment.
