Festival Danse en Fête -Exhibition « A ciel ouvert » Contredanse
-

The Cultural Centre of Waterloo presents the exhibition « Open Air » by Contredanse.
The exhibition « Open Air » is a photographic journey dedicated to contemporary dance. Presented as suspended fabrics, these images from the Contredanse archives reveal the diversity of gestures, bodies and choreographic practices in Belgium. The exhibition invites a sensitive and poetic encounter with movement, highlighting the visual memory of dance and making it accessible beyond traditional venues. The photographs capture intimate or spectacular moments, suspended gestures and dynamic body movements, revealing the evocative power of movement in a variety of contexts.
The exhibition is part of the Danse en Fête Festival and engages in dialogue with the rest of the programme. Bridges are created between images and live performances, offering a rewarding experience in which the audience can first contemplate dance through photography and then experience it live on stage.Post performance talks
