Festival Danse en fête – Breakdance Battle

As part of Festival Danse en Fête 2026, the Cultural Center of Waterloo, the Youth Center and the non-profit organization Waterrelief, in partnership with Club Waterrelief and with the support of the Municipality of Waterloo, present the breakdance battle « Claim Your Fame ».
This event highlights the Kidz U21 category, reserved for dancers under 21 years old. The competition will bring together 8 invited dancers and 8 dancers selected during the qualifiers, forming a Top 16 ready to battle it out until the final.
Judged by a panel of professionals and driven by a renowned DJ, participants will deliver an intense show combining creativity, technique and performance. Beyond the battle, the event promotes strong values of sharing, respect and personal development, which are central to hip hop culture.
The event is open to everyone, whether you are a dancer or a curious spectator eager to discover the new generation of breakdance.
