The Caillou Farm, now a museum, was Napoleon’s last headquarters during the 1815 campaign. It was here that the Emperor and his officers spent the night of 17-18 June, on the eve of the Battle of Waterloo.
The site offers a unique insight into Napoleon’s organisation and military preparations in the hours leading up to the decisive confrontation.
