Monument to the Prussians

Built in 1819 and topped by the Iron Cross—a symbol of Prussian military valor—this monument by architect Karl Friedrich Schinkel commemorates the Prussian soldiers who fell at Waterloo on June 1815.

It celebrates their decisive action, especially under Marshal Blücher, was crucial in ending Napoleon’s reign.
