Belgium’s National Day

To celebrate Belgium’s National Day, Waterloo invites you to enjoy a varied programme of activities from 19 to 21 July 2026. Throughout the weekend, enjoy live concerts, family entertainment, face painting, a funfair, food and drink stands run by local associations and sports clubs.
The highlight of the celebrations takes place on 21 July with the official ceremonies, a concert by the Independence Musical Band of Waterloo, a magic and ventriloquism show for children, a blind test and live music. Each evening ends with an open air dance party.

- 7:30 p.m., ROXO concert
- 9 p.m., « Envole-Moi » Cover, tribute to Jean Jacques Goldman

Tuesday 21 July
- 10 a.m., Food and drink stands open
- 10:30 a.m., Mass and Te Deum
- 11:20 a.m., Flower tribute at the Monument to Civic Spirit
- 11:30 a.m., Flag ceremony and speech by the Mayor
- 2:30 p.m., Face painting and magic and ventriloquism show for children
- 4 p.m., Concert by the Independence Musical Band of Waterloo
- 5:30 p.m., Blind test by Karawoo
- 9 p.m., « Amadouce » Cover concert
- 11 p.m., Low noise fireworks display « Elegance of the Stars » – CANCELLED
- 11:30 p.m., Dance party
- 1 a.m., End of the festivities
