Festive and family weekend at the foot of the Lion’s Mound

From 15 to 16 August 2026, the iconic Butte du Lion becomes a playground of discovery for all ages. A unique immersive experience combining entertainment, shows and living heritage.

During two days, the Domaine de la Bataille de Waterloo offers a rich programme included in the admission ticket. For the very first time, a spectacular zipline will be installed from the top of the Lion’s Mound, offering an unforgettable descent over the battlefield. Families can also enjoy a bouncy castle, various games, a climbing wall and pony rides. History enthusiasts will discover 1815 reenactment animations as well as live demonstrations of musket and cannon firing. All activities are included, and admission is free for children under 10.

The highlight of the weekend takes place on the evening of 15 August with a major concert by Mister Cover. After performing on legendary stages such as Ancienne Belgique and Forest National, the band returns for a unique show at the foot of the Lion’s Mound. Known for their high energy covers of the biggest international pop and rock hits, Mister Cover promises a festive and unifying atmosphere for all generations.
